Sponsored and coordinated by RIMS CTAP of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. The goal of this event is to provide an opportunity for all students, K-12, to showcase their standards-based technology projects for our local communities, legislators, educational leaders, parents, students, and teachers. Each school will have a display area and the opportunity to discuss and demonstrate their display with guests. This free event will also include several technology workshops presented and taught by students, as well as, CTAP staff.
This will be our first exhibit, and our hope is to have one every year to precede the California Department of Education Student Technology Showcase. This year's state showcase is on March 11, 2002. All participating schools will automatically be considered to represent Region 10 for the 2002 California Student Technology Showcase held in Sacramento.
Each school, teacher, and student will receive an award of participation in celebration of their achievements and participation. Join us for our first Student Technology Exhibit providing the opportunity for students to demonstrate and improve their technology capabilities plus a variety of associated skills in English, Math, Social Studies, Science, Visual and Oral presentation.
